The U.S. Small Business Administration released a snapshot of what’s new for small businesses in the United States this morning. Culling from data effective August 2018, the Agency reported on trends in the establishment and growth of America’s small businesses. According to the SBA’s recent Advocacy alert, there were 3.02 million small businesses in the United States (as of 2015) and 79.8% of entities established in 2016 survived through the following year.
