In its second year, the 5,000 Meals Program, launched by Like Neighbors, donates and delivers healthy meals to Washington, DC-area Fisher House comfort home, where veterans’ families stay free of charge while a loved one receives medical treatment at the VA hospital. Meals are also donated to the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS), which provides compassionate care and programming to more than 85,000 people grieving the loss of a military loved one.

From May 19th through May 31st, we matched donations made by the public and our supporters when they selected KSG Strategic Consulting on the Like Neighbors website. As a Corporate Supporter, we are also volunteering alongside Like Neighbors at an upcoming Fisher House dinner this summer.

If you missed the opportunity to support efforts in May, there is still time to donate meals. Visit the 5,000 Meals Program website for more details.
